Hello and welcome to my website.

The inspiration for my painting comes from my love and passion for the natural world. I have always marvelled at the diversity of creatures and plants in our world and it gives me great joy to try to convey my understanding and wonder through my artwork.

Although I passed my GCE O Level in Art and obtained a Diploma in Painting & Drawing from London Art College, I am largely self-taught in my chosen mediums of pastel and coloured pencil.

In 2004 I was lucky enough to go on safari in Botswana; a real dream-come-true opportunity to experience Africa’s untouched wilderness, witness natural animal behaviour in their true habitats and obtain some truly wonderful photographs.

I live in Hampshire with my husband, Pete, and our gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Marcus and Julius.  I am pictured here with Julius.
